Youthreach is a programme which was initiated by the DES in 1989 and there are currently 100 centres throughout the country and Co. Meath has six and Ashbourne is one of the centres under the Co. Meath VEC.

 

We run two programmes for the young people FETAC level 3 which is like a foundation Junior Cert and the LCA Programme.  All in all the young people are three years at the most in the centre. 

 

We have a very committed staff of twelve people including our administrator and housekeeper.  We have a 36 place centre, but often have more young peole looking for places.
